On how I went from doing fire performing for pizza to becoming a fire breather for Jackie Chan’s stunt team!
I started out doing a show for one family and sometimes for just one couple. I would eat some fire and if I was lucky, eat some pizza.
One time this guy came up to me and said:
“FireGuy, there is a movie auditioning for fire breathers.”
I had never been to an audition back then.Â
I asked, “What do I do?”
He gave me an address of a casting agent and told me to show up.
So I went to the audition and opened the door. When I entered, the casting director sad:
“FireGuy? You performed on the street for me and my boyfriend one night. Your perfect and you got the part.”
I had already auditioned and didn’t realize it.
But here is the kicker:
The movie was called “The Tuxedo.” It was a Jackie Chan movie.
So I got to meet Jackie Chan, became an official member of his stunt team and breathed fire in a major motion picture.
